Hopefully, you’ve seen articles and segments that illuminate the jump roping as one of the absolute best exercises for burning calories and losing weight. Well, CrossRope is an elite jump rope. Here are some general suggestions if you want to add jump roping to your workout routines:
1. You probably don’t need all 7 CrossRope cables to start.
Try a combo package like the Swift Set and then you can try out new cables as you progress and know what is going to work best with your workouts. It will also give you the opportunity to get accustomed to the huge difference in jump roping with different cable weights.
2. Start with the lighter cables.
If you are a beginner, learn proper jump roping technique with the Speed, Stamina, or Explode cables. The Sprint cable will be too light to get a good feel and the heavier cables may be too much of a challenge early on.
3. Practice different skills.
Start with regular jumping, work on good technique and then try to learn new skills. (See below)
