Announcing AMP 2.0!

We’re excited to introduce AMP 2.0, the next evolution of our Crossrope AMP technology! AMP 2.0 builds on everything you love about AMP 1.0, including Leaderboards, TargetTrainer, Teams, and more, with even more powerful features and improvements to take your jump rope game to the next level.

New Handle Design

The new 2.0 handle design now features a vibrant green/yellow gradient, bringing a fresh new look to your ropes and making it even more in sync with the aesthetic of the Crossrope app. 

   

Multi-Handle Mode for iOS

Get ready to save time and maximize every minute of your workout with Multi-Handle Mode on iOS! Now, you can pair up to 4 AMP handles simultaneously. Here’s how it works: you can attach your AMP handles to each rope before you start your workout, and during a Change Ropes interval, you can simply grab the next rope without needing to swap the handles over, giving you more time to rest, hydrate, or get a quick towel-off before the next interval.

Even better, Multi-Handle Mode allows you to quickly switch between ropes during Free Jump, so you can keep the momentum going and get the most out of your session.

For those of you with both AMP 1.0 and 2.0 handles, don’t worry - you can use both of them together, multiple 1.0 handles, multiple 2.0 handles, whatever combination you’d like. While AMP 1.0 handles may time out after 10 minutes of inactivity and need to be re-paired, AMP 2.0 handles stay connected for the entire workout, even if you have multiple handles paired. That means if you’re upgrading from AMP 1.0 to 2.0, you can keep both in your routine and seamlessly pair them up together.

Note: AMP 1.0 handles will no longer be available for purchase on our site, but AMP 2.0 is ready and waiting for you to level up your workout.

Triple Click Rewind on iOS

Ever miss the start of an interval or need a do-over on a tough set? Introducing the Triple Click Rewind! Just triple-click your AMP handle button to rewind to the start of the current interval or back to the previous one—just like rewinding a song you want to hear again. It’s perfect for when you need to catch up or revisit a particularly challenging interval.

For quick reference, here's how the AMP button works:

  • 1 click: Start/Pause/Resume your workout or Free Jump session

  • 2 clicks: Skip to the next interval

  • 3 clicks: Rewind to the start of the current or previous interval

Important Note for Android Users

Currently, AMP 2.0 handles function the same as AMP 1.0 handles on Android devices. While we’d love to bring multi-handle mode functionality to Android, the technical challenges of supporting Bluetooth devices on Android are much higher than on iOS, and our priority is ensuring that your core AMP features remain reliable.
